Portable, battery-operated, compact and lightweight immersion pyrometer for measuring molten metal temperature with a contact thermocouple. It detects the signal plateau to deliver a dependable reading within a few seconds, and it powers off automatically to save battery. It is offered for ferrous metals such as steel and cast iron, and for nonferrous metals such as copper, brass, bronze and aluminum.
