Contact block, a spare part for the tip of the type-S immersion pyrometer. It fits onto the lance tip where the thermocouple is assembled for molten-metal bath temperature measurement. Available in a two-wire version (temperature only) and a four-wire version (temperature and oxygen content).

The disposable Smart Carbon Cup is designed to deliver accurate, reproducible and consistent cooling-curve data from molten metal, with very high carbon and silicon accuracy and a very high success rate. It guarantees electrical contact throughout the test, ensures complete solidification of white iron, improves process control, and produces uniform, repeatable cooling curves with a fast thermocouple response and excellent thermal insulation through its silica construction, across a wide pouring-temperature range. It can be used on hypo- and hyper-eutectic irons and on base iron before magnesium treatment. The Smart Carbon Cup–SG variant is for inoculated ductile (spheroidal graphite) iron, for determining carbon equivalent and %C after magnesium treatment.

Carbon Equivalent Analyzer

SMART LAB is a microprocessor-based instrument for fast thermal analysis of molten iron before pouring, allowing the melt to be corrected for optimization and ensuring higher pouring quality. It is purpose-built for the foundry floor and calculates carbon content (%C), carbon equivalent (CE) and silicon content (%Si) for rapid analysis of cast iron. It is an automatic analysis instrument used together with the Smart Cup and Smart Tip for both thermal analysis and immersion temperature measurement, built around dedicated electronic hardware and SMART LOGIC software that corrects errors introduced by the power loss/aging of electronic components, ensuring measurement accuracy.

Smart Port is a line of immersion-type temperature measuring equipment for molten metals, built around dedicated electronic hardware and SMART LOGIC software that automatically corrects errors from the loss/aging of electronic components. It uses plateau-detection technology for accurate readings, focusing on the sensor's steady-state response while ignoring transient signals, and displays only valid temperatures with error messages for inconsistent readings. The Smart Port M4 model has a 4-digit display with 4-inch-tall digits. Separate models are available for ferrous and non-ferrous metal temperature measurement.

Smart Port is a line of immersion-type temperature measuring equipment for molten metals, built around dedicated electronic hardware and SMART LOGIC software that corrects errors from the loss/aging of electronic components, ensuring long-term consistency. The SMART TEMP portable model is a battery-operated pyrometer useful for measuring the surface temperature of preheated molds and preheated ladles, and can also measure the temperature of any solid, liquid or gas. For surface readings, a leaf-type probe is gently touched to the surface; within seconds the temperature is measured and shown on an LCD display.
