Portable battery-operated immersion pyrometer for molten metal that, besides measuring with a contact thermocouple within a few seconds, stores readings in memory and connects to a computer through its software. It is intended for steel, cast iron, copper, brass, bronze, aluminum and other metals. It includes automatic power-off, battery status indication and intelligent self calibration.
