Educational system for the theoretical study of solar systems used for domestic hot water, air conditioning and other civil applications. The simulator allows up to six temperature probes at different points in the circuit and a solar-radiation sensor to calculate absorbed energy. It is made up of three operating units: the primary circuit (circulating liquid from the collector that heats the storage tank), the solar thermal collector (with two temperature probes for hot and cold liquid and a light sensor that detects solar radiation), and the secondary domestic-hot-water circuit (with sensors in the tank's hot side, cold side, and water inlet and outlet). Displays and LED bars show the temperature values, and it includes a manual with exercises and solar thermal energy theory.
