Immersion-type temperature measuring instruments for molten metal. Smart Port is a line of immersion-type temperature measuring equipment for molten metals, built around dedicated electronic hardware and SMART LOGIC software that corrects errors from the loss/aging of electronic components, ensuring long-term consistency. The SMART TEMP portable model is a battery-operated pyrometer useful for measuring the surface temperature of preheated molds and preheated ladles, and can also measure the temperature of any solid, liquid or gas. For surface readings, a leaf-type probe is gently touched to the surface; within seconds the temperature is measured and shown on an LCD display.
