Thermal analysis instrument for molten iron that determines carbon equivalent, % carbon and % silicon using a carbon cup, with a built-in immersion pyrometer. It shows measured and calculated values on LED displays and indicates the measurement sequence with signal lamps, and it recognizes signal failures such as sensor burnout or early pouring. It can be configured for three iron grades and keeps the latest readings in memory.
