An automatic metal pouring system for medium to large ladles with capacity up to 5 metric tons. It monitors the pour with optical sensors and a camera, adjusting pouring speed to the in-flow capacity to prevent overflow. Servo drives give fast angle control, and a rotary ladle changer and lid lifter cut ladle changeover time and temperature loss.
