The QNix 4200 and QNix 4500 are built to meet the requirements of automotive paint applications and other industries. The QNix 4500 measures on all metals with a simple ferrous/non-ferrous mode switch; the QNix 4200 is designed for users who only measure on steel or iron. Both use proven Hall-sensor technology (plus eddy-current for the QNix 4500), offer one-handed operation for every application, have integrated sensors with no cables or connectors, automatic on/off, a display in microns or mils, and an audible signal confirming the measurement.
