HT-225A Concrete Rebound Hammer
SADT · SKU sadt-HT-225A
The concrete rebound hammer (sclerometer) transmits the impact of a hammer to the concrete surface through a set elastic force; part of the initial kinetic energy is absorbed as plastic or residual deformation of the concrete, while another part, proportional to the surface hardness, is transmitted back to the hammer, making it rebound to a certain height. Concrete strength is derived from the proportional relationship between rebound height and concrete strength. It is economical, simple in construction, easy to calibrate, maintain and repair, and portable. The HT-225A is used to measure the strength of normal concrete elements (slabs, beams, columns, trusses) in buildings and bridges.
