DL 13003-02 Mechanical Assembly Practice Training System

This system lets students evaluate, after each assembly and disassembly, a set of shafts and bearings driven by belts, gears and toothed pulleys, powered by a three-phase motor whose variable speed produces different levels of vibration; vibration intensity is measured on all three axes. Educational activities include pulley and bearing assembly and disassembly, shaft alignment, mechanical-transmission calculations, motor-torque and resistive-torque measurements, energy-efficiency measurements, vibration measurements in three planes at different speeds, and vibration measurements with an inertia disc.
