Measures the wall thickness of materials such as steel, plastic and more using ultrasonic technology. Ideal for measuring the effects of corrosion or erosion in tanks, pipes or any structure where access is limited to one side. Multiple-echo (UTG M) direct-to-paint models measure the metal thickness of a painted structure without removing the coating. Precision ultrasonic transducers deliver fast, accurate readings, the unit is solvent, acid, oil, water and dust resistant and weatherproof, and USB, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity links to PosiSoft software for PC, Mac and smartphone.
