Robotic sand-mold milling system. It includes a 6-axis robot with a 2.9-metre reach, 120 kg payload, ±0.04 mm (±0.0015 in) accuracy, and a 24,000 RPM, 10 kW spindle; a hydraulic tilting mold table with a standard 2 x 2 x 2 m capacity and adjustable clamping jaws for efficient loading and unloading; an automatic tool-change station holding up to 16 tools with integrated pneumatic nozzle cleaning for fully autonomous operation; and a cell-control package with a 24-inch touchscreen and proprietary software, run on an industrial B&R PC. Options include a tool-inspection station and a gantry-type seventh axis.
