FLOWCast is the fluid-flow modeling module from Finite Solutions, Inc. It works together with SOLIDCast models to simulate metal movement through gating systems and mold filling. It models convection, conduction and radiation to predict flow-related defects such as shrinkage, oxides and splashing, and lets users view the progression of temperature, velocity and pressure, plus composite graphs of fill times and temperatures.
