The AFAW-500D computer-controlled servo-hydraulic universal testing machine is used mainly for tension, compression, bending and flexural tests on metallic materials. With simple attachments and fixtures it can also test wood, concrete, cement, rubber and even run the Erichsen cup test. It is well suited to testing different metallic or non-metallic materials under extremely large loading forces with high toughness and hardness. Beyond our standard-supplied accessories, more options are available, such as a large-deformation extensometer, steel-wire grips, an Erichsen test fixture, Poisson's ratio testing, and shear testing.
